Interview about air heaters with Sam Pellow – owner of Carbon Instinct based in Lymington, UK

How did you hear about ElectroHeat?

When we worked for team Artemis Racing in the America’s Cup, we used Electroheat heaters to cure all our components that were made of prepreg carbon fiber. Thanks to having used the air heater before, I knew they were the right heaters to use for our manufacturing processes.

What are you planning to use the heater for?

The heater will be used to cure our prepreg carbon fiber products. We manufacture a wide range of composite components, from shelf furniture for cosmetics to lightweight, high-performance structures. We also chose the HA27 heater because it allows us to travel to various yacht projects that require prepreg materials for repairs and modifications, meaning we can perform on-site curing anywhere in Europe.

Why did you choose ElectroHeat as your air heater supplier?
