How did you hear about ElectroHeat?

When working for Artemis Racing – America’s Cup team we were using Electroheat heaters for curing all our pre preg carbon fibre components. Having a history using the heater before, I knew they were the right heaters to use for our manufacturing processes.

What are you intending to use the heater for?

The heater will be used to cure our pre preg carbon fibre products. We manufacture a wide variety of composite components ranging from cosmetic furniture to light weight high performance structures. We also chose the HA27 heater because it allows us to travel to yacht projects that require prepreg-materials for repairs and modifications, meaning we can cure on site anywhere in Europe.

Why did you choose ElectroHeat as a supplier?

Good past experience with the heater made by ElectroHeat. Perfect mobile heater for curing composites, giving precision ramp and soak rates. High volume output. Professional and reliable piece of kit.

Are you satisfied with the delivery and ElectroHeat as a supplier?

Very satisfied. Delivery from Sweden to the United Kingdom was fast and painless. Would highly recommend ElectroHeat to anyone within the composite manufacturing industry.

Facts about composite curing heaters from ElectroHeat

The Air Heater HA27 is designed for a variety of curing processes e.g. composite epoxy materials (CEM) and pre-preg carbon fibres. CEM are used in hulls for sailboats and rotor blades in the wind power industry to achieve good strength in combination with low weight.

Our Air Heaters units have many benefits:

  • They re-circulate the heated air
  • Simple digital controller for setting of hold time, ramp speed
  • Robust, made for industrial use
  • One unit can heat up to 50 m(cubic meters)
